Understanding Our Paint Correction Process
Paint Correction is Permanent Repair or Restoration of damaged clear-coated paintwork. It involves removing defects in the top paint layer by DA machine polish to produce a more desired look or finish. Defects include swirl marks, hard water marks, etching, scratches and fading. Paint correction uses different grades of cleanser, polish, or compound.

True paint correction requires years of training, experience, and paintwork knowledge. Inexperienced detailers hide imperfections by applying filters in the form of waxes and sealants. LEVEL 1 LIGHT POLISH
Single-stage polish by DA machine polisher. After a multi-step decontamination wash, we use a dual-action machine polisher and a light cut minor surface scratch removal product to correct the paint. We then protect the surface using a carnauba or paint sealant of the customer’s choice.
6-8 hrs.
LEVEL 2 PAINT CORRECTION
Removes light scratches, swirls, holograms, and oxidation. We perform this enhancement in 2 stages. After we fully prep the vehicle, we use a moderate-strength product to repair and slightly correct the surface. Then we use a light cut/swirl remover product to refine the surface to an outstanding glossy appearance.
8-12 hrs.
LEVEL 3 PAINT CORRECTION
Multiple stages of Paint Correction completely removing all heavy swirls, marring from improper car washing, surface scratches, oxidation, and hard water stains. After a multi-step decontamination wash, We apply a cut compound and a medium polish to remove all imperfections, swirls, holograms and most RIDS. We perform another medium polish pass, rejuvenating the surface and preparing it for the final polish. The length of the final polish depends on the condition of the vehicle’s paint. In any case, the results are always SUPERIOR.
LEVEL 4 PAINT CORRECTION
Multiple-Stage Paint Correction plus complete RIDS (Random Isolated Deeper Scratch) removal, creating a 100% scratch-free surface. The Full Paint Correction is the ultimate solution for an absolutely flawless finish and is our most restorative detail. Designed for the most discerning client and vehicles with very neglected and damaged paintwork.
