  • A Direction to Pay & Power of Attorney

    You are authorizing NavAuto1 to accept insurance payments on your behalf.

    NavAuto1 Group can endorse and deposit checks from your insurance company into their account. The funds will be applied as credit toward your repair costs.

  • Insurance Check Handling and Power of Attorney

    In the event that the insurance company inadvertently mails a check or settlement supplement check directly to the customer, the customer agrees to notify Nav Auto1 immediately upon receipt. The customer further agrees to deliver such a check to the repair facility within 48 hours of receipt.

    The customer acknowledges and agrees that the Power of Attorney is granted solely for the purpose of signing and endorsing the original payment checks, as well as any additional insurance checks or drafts owed on their behalf for the vehicle repair, specifically related to the claim and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stated in the repair agreement.

  • Repair Authorization

    The customer may request an estimate, either written or oral, and any estimate provided, whether written or oral, is binding under Colorado law. Any subsequent written or oral estimates and authorizations are also legal and binding.

    The customer authorizes Nav Auto1 to perform the repairs outlined above and provide the necessary parts and labor. The customer understands that any quoted costs are estimates only.

    NavAuto1 employees may operate the customer’s vehicle for inspection, testing, and diagnostic purposes at the customer’s risk. NavAuto1 will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the customer’s vehicle or any personal items left inside the vehicle.

    The customer has 72 hours from the completion of repairs to remove the vehicle from the Nav Auto1 premises. After this period, a storage fee of $150.00 per day will be applied (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays).

    The customer agrees that Nav Auto1 holds an express mechanic’s lien on the vehicle for the charges related to parts and labor provided under this Repair Authorization, including charges from any prior repair orders for the vehicle. If the customer fails to pay such charges, the customer agrees to cover the costs of collection and any reasonable attorney fees in addition to the amounts owed under this Repair Authorization.

  • Auto Body & Paint Warranty

    Our warranty covers both materials and labor to correct any defect in workmanship arising from repairs performed under the original repair order.

    Lifetime Limited Warranty on Paint-Related Work: NavAuto1 provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty on paint-related priming and painting work, covering issues such as solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation. Defects in parts and materials are subject to the terms set forth by the manufacturer.

    Exclusions: The following are specifically excluded from this Limited Lifetime Warranty:

    • Incidental costs such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, per diem expenses, and claims of nature.

    • Assemblies and components are not specifically covered by this warranty.

    • Consequential damage, including damage to other assemblies or components resulting from defective parts or the installation of parts repaired under this warranty.

    • Paint failure due to pre-existing body rust, scratches, abrasions, stone chips (whether intentional or accidental).

    • Deterioration is caused by the use of detergents or waxes not intended for automotive use, acid rain, industrial fallout, or other environmental effects.

    • Damages caused by another collision or deterioration from abuse or misuse.

    • Custom finishes, exotic finishes, or any refinish procedure other than standard.

    • Repairs conducted over previously refinished areas unless the area has been stripped to bare metal.

    • Claims without proper documentation.

    • Solvent blends and single-stage systems.

    This Lifetime Limited Warranty shall not be varied, supplemented, or interpreted by any prior course of dealings.

    It is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the Customer of Record.

  • Mechanical Warranty

    NavAuto1 does not provide any warranty, either express or implied, for repairs that involve the installation of Used or Recycled parts, as the warranty is voided using such parts.

    New Parts Warranty:

    For services performed by NavAuto1 that include the installation of new parts, a warranty of 2 years or 24,000 miles applies, whichever occurs first. This warranty covers parts and services installed by NavAuto1 and is effective from the date the services are completed. The warranty for new parts is provided by the manufacturer of the parts, and services performed by NavAuto1 include nationwide coverage through the TechNet Professionals (www.technetprofessional.com).

    Limitations and Non-transferability:

    The NavAuto1 warranty is limited to the services and parts provided and installed by NavAuto1 and is valid only for the registered owner(s) of the vehicle at the time the repairs were performed. This warranty is non-transferable and may only be claimed by the original owner.

    Exclusive Warranty and Remedy:

    Any claims under the NavAuto1 warranty must be made by the registered vehicle owner. The vehicle owner or their representative agrees that this warranty is an exclusive remedy available, and agrees not to pursue any alternative remedy, including but not limited to disputing any payment made by credit card. These warranties are exclusive and in place of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

    Vehicle(s) Deemed a Total Loss

    Please be advised that if the vehicle is deemed a total loss by the customer’s insurance company, a $150.00 per day storage fee will be applied from the time the vehicle arrives at our facility until the insurance company officially classifies the vehicle as a total loss and it is picked up from the NavAuto1 Group facility. In addition, an administrative fee of $850.00 will be charged, along with the cost of any towing, tear-down, and inspection that would have been performed as part of the process. The customer and the customer's insurance company are responsible for all related and incurred charges. No exceptions will be made to these charges.

  • Arbitration

    Any dispute that may arise shall be settled through arbitration. The Arbitration proceeding will be held in Adams County, Colorado, before a single arbitrator who is knowledgeable in legal procedures, the rules of evidence, and the automotive repair industry. The Arbitration process and selection of the arbitrator shall be conducted in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, including applicable statutes of limitation and Colorado rules of evidence. The arbitrator shall deliver a written opinion outlining the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and the rationale for the decision. Any opinion entered as a final judgment may be appealed in the same manner as a judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.

    The arbitrator will have the authority to award legal remedies only, to the extent that the same remedies would be available if the parties were before a court of law. However, the arbitrator shall not have the authority to award punitive damages to either party. To the full extent allowed by law, NavAuto1 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or damages for loss of profit, revenue, or use incurred by the vehicle owner or any other party, whether in contract or tort, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

    Nav Auto1 Group will not be liable for any hail damage that may occur while the vehicle is in our possession. Hail is considered an Act of God and is not covered under our insurance policy.

    Dear Guests,

    Please be advised that all payments must be made using the credit card of the individual listed on our invoice. We cannot accept credit cards from another individual or family member unless they are specifically listed on the repair order.  "We do not accept personal checks as a form of payment." 

    There will be no exceptions to this policy.

    By signing this agreement, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this contract. The Customer represents and warrants that they are the rightful owner of the vehicle. If the Customer is not the vehicle owner, they affirm that they possess the authority to bind the vehicle's owner(s) to all terms and conditions of this contract.
